Hi my name is Oliver and I am the creator of Skate Kam. One day I sat on my couch and was searching for a simple app to film my skateboarding tricks with a fisheye effect on the iPhone. I stumbled upon additional lenses to get the desired effect, but they all interfered with the internal camera stabilizer of the iPhone and had a blurry image quality. There are also some apps on the App Store but only for taking a photo with the effect and not recording live video. So I decided to built my own app and that’s how Skate Kam was born.
